Solar Installer / Technician

Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation Work:
• Install solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, wiring, and conduits on
rooftops or ground.
• Connect DC and AC systems as per design and safety standards.
• Assist in mounting, module alignment, drilling, wiring, and inverter setup.
2. Site Readiness & Safety:
• Follow all safety protocols including use of helmets, gloves, harnesses, and other PPE.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and used properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
3. Electrical & Testing Work:
• Support basic electrical work – wiring, MC4 connections, earthing, and breaker setup.
• Assist in system testing (voltage checks, inverter sync, generation testing).
4. Team Coordination:
• Work under the supervision of the Installation Manager or Site Supervisor.
• Cooperate with other installers, electricians, and helpers on-site.
5. Documentation Support:
• Help in preparing basic site photos, daily work updates, and material usage reports.
Skills Required:
• Rooftop installation experience (preferably 1+ years)
• Basic electrical knowledge (wiring, load connections)
• Ability to work at heights
• Familiarity with solar tools (drills, spanners, testers, etc.)
Qualifications:
• 10th Pass / 12th Pass
• ITI (Electrician/Wireman) preferred
• On-site experience in solar or electrical installation work
Salary Range:
₹10,000 – ₹18,000/month + Site Allowance + Overtime (if applicable)
(Can increase with experience and skill level)
